How Pure Air Fry researches air fryers

The buying guide and Ninja and Fritaire reviews compare published product information. We have not hands-on tested these appliances or conducted chemical testing.

Sources and model checks

We use manufacturer product pages, manuals, and care information for specifications. Model numbers and market matter: a US appliance or retailer bundle can differ from one sold elsewhere. The revised guides link to their sources and state when we checked them.

Published reviews can suggest questions to investigate, but an owner's experience does not establish how every unit performs. We do not present someone else's testing as our own. Where manufacturer pages disagree, we identify the conflict and leave the answer unresolved rather than choose a convenient number.

Selection criteria

We compare container format and capacity, controls, cleaning restrictions, and space requirements. Recommendations explain which kitchen needs those features may suit and what a buyer gives up. The buying guide is a selected comparison, not a catalog of every available air fryer.

Advertised capacity is not a measurement of usable cooking area. We do not infer serving counts, browning quality, cooking speed, or energy savings from capacity and wattage alone. Prices, replacement parts, and included accessories need checking with the seller before purchase.

Material claims and testing limits

A glass bowl can come with a coated plate or other food-contact parts. We distinguish the container from its accessories and attribute material claims to their source. Manufacturer phrases such as “PFAS-free” are not an independent safety certification from Pure Air Fry.

Research-based reviews do not establish chemical migration, long-term durability, or comparative cooking performance. Any future hands-on review should identify the tested model, conditions, and observations. Product images are not evidence that we own or tested an appliance.
