What stands out
Fritaire claims a glass bowl and stainless steel accessories with no Teflon, PTFE, BPA, or PFAS on food-contact surfaces. Its 5-quart bowl gives a full view of browning, and the included accessories make rotisserie and tumbler cooking part of the pitch.
The self-cleaning function is the other differentiator. The manufacturer describes adding soapy water and running a cleaning cycle for about 10 minutes. That does not mean there is zero maintenance, but it is a meaningful convenience angle for sticky air fryer messes.
Tradeoffs
The dome-and-bowl format takes counter and cabinet space differently than a drawer air fryer. If you mostly want fries and frozen snacks with a pull-out basket, Cuisinart ClearView or Ninja Crispi may feel more natural.
